The base plate bearing can rotate the instrument 360 degrees, allowing the laser beam to reach any desired direction.
The automatic alarm function enables the instrument to automatically turn off the laser and sound an alarm when it is tilted beyond the damping range, and quickly resume emitting light after being leveled.
